When it rains, it pours

I went in for an ultrasound to check on that stubborn ovarian cyst that just won't go away. They found more than just the fact that the cyst hasn't changed. They also found a little tumor. I had a blood test to detect Cancerous cells. Results will be given on Thursday.

Everything always works out for me. There's drama, but there's always a happy ending. I'd like to relax and say that the same will happen in this case. But if I let my guard down, I'll get a big shocker on Thursday.

So I'm going to just go about my everyday life and hope for the best.

My goodness...you have been put through the fire lately. I'm so glad to hear your babies are feeling a bit better. I do hope you are able to get sleep soon.

We are thinking of you as you wait for some results. If it helps, I had a "cyst" that wouldn't go away and it was a "tumor" but turned out to be a dermoid...essentially it is an egg that self-fertilizes (totally gross...don't look up pics!), but it is completely non-cancerous (benign). It is common in women who have ovarian cysts. I know it is scary waiting for those results, so I will continue to send positive vibes your way!!

Thinking of you.

I also had a tumor scare a couple years ago when my doc was checking out my many cysts - from what I hear, it's somewhat common for us PCOS ladies. Goodness knows that doesn't make the waiting any easier, though.
